Job Description
This role is for a VDC Engineer to lead digital delivery processes within the Advanced Manufacturing sector. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing VDC/BIM strategies, aligning technologies with project goals, and defining digital delivery scopes.
Your day-to-day will involve creating BIM Execution Plans, integrating VDC tasks like 4D scheduling and 5D cost analysis, and managing the Common Data Environment. You'll also lead clash detection, serve as a BIM Subject Matter Expert, and oversee model redlining and as-built processes.
The company is looking for someone with at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience, strong proficiency in software like Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and experience with laser scanning. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a proven track record of onsite VDC leadership.
