Job Description
This role is for a VDC Engineer to lead digital delivery processes within the Advanced Manufacturing sector. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing BIM and VDC workflows, from project setup and model coordination to clash detection and as-built processes. This position involves integrating technologies with client goals and ensuring seamless digital delivery from design through construction.
You will also play a key part in stakeholder collaboration, acting as the VDC lead on projects and supporting business development efforts. The role requires on-site leadership, coordinating VDC activities with field operations, and providing technical support. You'll also contribute to team development by mentoring employees and creating training materials.
The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience, strong proficiency in software like Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and experience with laser scanning. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of construction processes. This is a site-based role with a flexible home office location in the U.S., with a requirement to work on-site at a project near Corpus Christi, TX.
