Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM/VDC Intern to join their team for the Summer of 2027 in Springfield, Massachusetts. You'll be involved in BIM/VDC operations across various projects, from renovations to new construction, working with different disciplines like Architecture, Electrical, and Mechanical.
You'll help ensure projects meet BIM/VDC standards by coordinating with clients and sub-consultants. This role involves assisting with BIM Execution Plans, supporting the BIM Manager with training, and managing digital platforms and project models. You'll also collaborate with project teams on model coordination, clash detection, and resolving design issues.
The ideal candidate is a student pursuing a degree in VDC, BIM, or a related field, with experience in CAD software like AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Revit. Familiarity with industry BIM/VDC documentation is also important.
