Job Description
This company is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Fort Myers, Florida. You'll be overseeing the on-site construction engineering for significant heavy civil and power construction projects, focusing on grading, clearing, and site development.
In this role, you'll be tracking project quantities, generating billing, and initiating change orders. You'll also be creating CAD drawings to solve design issues that come up in the field and assisting with work plans and schedules. Managing submittals, purchase orders, and subcontracts will also be part of your responsibilities, along with supporting field personnel and working closely with superintendents and crews.
A four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience is required, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently under pressure. You should also be willing to relocate for the position.
