Job Description
This role is for a manager who will oversee metrology, inspection, and product quality for advanced propulsion programs. The company is looking for someone to lead the strategy for inspection and measurement systems, ensuring products meet quality standards from development through to serial production. This includes approving supplier submissions and managing non-conformance.
The position involves defining inspection concepts, datum strategies, and measurement plans, as well as influencing product designs for better inspectability. The manager will also build and lead teams in metrology, inspection, and product quality engineering, reporting key metrics to leadership.
This opportunity requires a strong background in aerospace quality standards, GD&T, and supplier quality management. If you have experience in leading inspection systems through NPI and FAI, this could be your next step.
