Job Description
The company is looking for a Project Manager for Tooling Design in Augsburg, Germany. This role involves managing projects within a complex industrial manufacturing segment, focusing on planning, prioritizing, and tracking development and improvement measures in tooling. You'll coordinate between engineering, production, quality, and the shop floor, ensuring smooth information flow among all stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the tooling design process without direct design work, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting change management and technical clarifications. You will also create documentation, status reports, and maintain project plans, working closely with suppliers and internal departments, and spending time on the shop floor.
A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with solid project management experience in an industrial or technical setting, is required. Strong technical understanding, the ability to grasp complex issues, and excellent communication and moderation skills are essential. You must be fluent in German and willing to work full-time on-site in Augsburg.
