Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Project Lead to join their Architecture & Design team in Chanhassen, Minnesota. This role involves coordinating all BIM model building efforts across different project phases, from schematic design to construction administration. You'll be ensuring models meet company BIM standards and facilitating their use among design teams, architects, engineers, and construction partners.
Your responsibilities will include creating and coordinating models for the design process and construction documents, leading model reviews, and managing clash detection processes. You'll also collaborate with construction teams to deliver models to job sites and work with internal teams to administer changes to project models. Developing innovative BIM processes and training others will also be part of the role.
A background in construction management or computer-aided design with a focus on 3D modeling is required, along with proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite, Navisworks Manage, and cloud-based BIM applications like BIM 360. Experience with architectural rendering and 3D simulation is also expected.
