Job Description
The company is looking for a Site Engineer to join their SS&BESS business within electrical substation construction projects. You'll work closely with the Site Manager, taking responsibility for the operational aspects of the site, reporting, and safety. This role involves competitive tendering, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on budget, on schedule, and are executed safely.
This position requires travel across various electrical substation sites throughout Finland. You will be part of a specialized team of approximately 50 professionals focused on electrical substation projects, providing strong support.
Key responsibilities include managing site operations, overseeing and implementing safety measures, scheduling, practical arrangements, quality control, and reporting to the project team and client. Development tasks for site operations are also part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in site supervision, strong project management skills, and up-to-date IT proficiency, including Office 365. Self-direction, organizational skills, and excellent negotiation and collaboration abilities are expected. Experience in design or the electrical grid sector is a plus. A degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering is required.
