BIM Project Manager
Job Description
This role is about optimizing client projects from the very beginning. You'll be working on the owner's side, using your experience in design, cost estimating, and construction to provide continuous feedback. This means minimizing risks and maximizing value throughout the planning, design, and construction phases.
You'll be reviewing drawings, including 2D and 3D models, and providing recommendations for constructability, value engineering, and sequencing. You'll also lead the development of Construction Management Plans and engage with design teams and trade contractors to find the most efficient ways to complete work, especially in occupied facilities.
The company is looking for someone with a Mechanical Engineering background and 5-10 years of experience in preconstruction. Familiarity with building codes, health & safety regulations, and construction project management tools is important.
