The company is looking for a Global CAD Design Manager to lead and develop their worldwide CAD operations. This role involves being the main technical and strategic point person for all CAD activities, ensuring drawings are produced efficiently, to a high standard, and align with company goals and safety requirements.
You'll be responsible for standardizing, automating, and innovating CAD processes across the organization. This includes managing the CAD team globally, allocating resources, and coaching team leaders. A key part of the role is defining the future of CAD, moving towards 3D and parametric design, increasing automation, and reducing manual work.
The position requires strong experience in CAD engineering within an industrial setting, with proven leadership skills. Deep expertise in AutoCAD, including advanced versions and a good understanding of 3D environments, is essential. A passion for process improvement, automation, and efficiency, along with the ability to think strategically and work hands-on, is also important.
