Job Description
This role is for a Senior Public Space Designer in Zaandam, Netherlands. The company is looking for someone who can see opportunities in urban spaces and translate ambitions into concrete designs, from initial sketches to execution.
The focus will be on complex design and redevelopment tasks, particularly in the Zaanstad Centrum area. This involves working on new residential areas and infrastructure renovations, ensuring coherence across projects and disciplines, and identifying risks early on. The senior designer will be involved in both the content and process aspects of these projects.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant HBO or WO degree, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in design software like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
