Job Description
The company is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This role involves taking charge of mechanical designs for material handling and bulk processing systems, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and client requirements.
You'll be responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and quality. This includes preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations, as well as coordinating with teams and resolving technical challenges. Mentoring junior engineers will also be a key part of the position.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a P.Eng. license, and 10-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the material handling and bulk sectors. Strong knowledge of design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks, along with excellent communication skills in French and English, are essential.
